九月的小回顧
A Quiet Look Back at September
monthly-digest九月最後一個週日，照慣例回來這裡坐一下。( ˘ω˘ )
先說一件事：這裡的日誌，從八月一直到中秋前，安靜了好一陣子。八月的回顧就不另外補寫了，一起收進這一篇。
「作品」那個小角落，八月倒是多了一張〈等下一片陰影〉。騎樓底下涼涼的，往前一步就是曬到發白的街，帕嚕可站在光的邊界前面，還不太想動。日曆快入秋，身體還留在夏天，大概就是這種感覺。
貼圖跟主題那邊，這個夏天陸陸續續多了一些樣子。
第一次有一包是講日文的，了解、辛苦了、晚安，幫你用日文回話。有一個雨停之後慢慢散步的主題。還有感冒時裹著棉被捧熱湯的、立志運動卻在跑步機上癱掉的、月底錢包倒出來只剩灰塵的。這幾種日子，應該多少都碰過吧。
九月底是中秋。搧炭火被煙燻到、分你一塊月餅、坐下來看月亮，這些也都變成了可以傳的小圖；另外還有一個安安靜靜賞月的主題。🌙
然後是這段時間最想記下來的一件事。
九月初，第一次有人把帕嚕可帶回家了。應該是自己在 LINE 裡慢慢逛，逛到了，就選了牠。
知道的那天，心裡一直暖暖的。帕嚕可遇到稱讚就會害羞，要是牠知道，大概會拉起淡紫色領巾的末端，先蓋住自己的一隻眼睛吧。謝謝你，不管你是誰。✨
十月天氣應該會慢慢涼下來。下一張畫會是什麼樣子還不知道，不急，照帕嚕可的速度就好。( ´･ω･` )

It's the last Sunday of September, so as usual I came back here to sit for a while. ( ˘ω˘ )
One thing first: this journal went quiet for a good while, from August until just before Mid-Autumn. There won't be a separate look back at August. It's folded into this one.
The little "works" corner did get one new piece in August, "Waiting for the Next Patch of Shade." It's cool under the arcade, and one step forward the street is bleached white with sun. Paluqo stands at the edge of the light and doesn't quite feel like moving yet. The calendar almost in autumn, the body still in summer. That kind of feeling.
On the sticker and theme side, a few new looks showed up over the summer.
For the first time, one pack speaks Japanese: got it, good work, good night, everyday replies in Japanese. There's a theme for a slow walk after the rain stops. And there's one for being sick, wrapped in a blanket with warm soup; one for trying to get fit and collapsing on the treadmill; one for the end of the month, when the wallet only shakes out dust. Most of us have had a few days like those.
Then came Mid-Autumn at the end of September. Fanning the charcoal and getting caught in the smoke, sharing a piece of mooncake, sitting down to look at the moon: those became little stickers too, along with a quiet moon-gazing theme. 🌙
And then the thing I most wanted to write down.
In early September, for the first time, someone took Paluqo home. As far as I can tell, they found it on their own while browsing around LINE, and picked it.
I felt warm all day after finding out. Paluqo gets shy when it's praised. If it knew, it would probably lift the end of its lavender kerchief and cover one eye for a moment. Thank you, whoever you are. ✨
October should slowly cool down. I don't know yet what the next piece will look like. No rush, at Paluqo's own pace. ( ´･ω･` )
